From Nature World News:
“Statistics show there are nine powerful countries in the world that have nuclear programs and house over 15,000 nuclear arsenals. Literally, anyone could be living close to a nuclear weapon right this moment. Activists have warned the public of the danger this brings, as a single arsenal could kill thousands and could have devastating effects that could last for generations.
According to a report published by the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, the nine countries that develop nuclear programs locally are the U.S., UK, Russia, France, China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea. That gives representation to large and economically powerful continents in the world: North America, Europe, and Asia.
However, the problem does no stop there. Even though there are only nine countries in the world who are active in the development of nuclear weapons and warheads, it does not mean that people from other countries are safe.
A report from Fiona Macdonald of Science Alert stated that many of these countries have nuke storages outside of their countries. For instance, the U.S. has nuke storages in Italy, Belgium, and Turkey. Both Germany and Netherlands are also hosts for nuclear weapon storage. There are also countries that are in alliance with nuclear-weapon-developing countries, which include but are not limited to Australia, South Korea, Greece, Norway, and many more.”
